My S7300b was bricked trying to update the firmware provided on Willgoo's product page. Their customer service was unwilling to help, and they claim no responsibility for the file and instructions they provide on their site. Buyer beware, I would not buy a unit from Willgoo, as these units are finicky, prone to bricking and they do not stand behind their product.
However, I was pretty sure I had $130 paperweight at this point, so I was willing to try anything. After researching, I've come to understand there are 3 'levels' of bricking:
Soft Brick - You still see the JXD logo, but does not boot into Android. You can unbrick through the SD (VOL+ & Power) or USB (VOL- & Power) methods.
Hard Brick - Only black screen is shown, Green Power LED when 'On', Red Power LED when charging. You can unbrick using the USB (VOL- & Power) methods.
Deep Brick - Only Black Screen is shown, Green Power LED when 'On', but no LED when charger is connected. Unit is not responsive to USB or SD methods. Device does not appear in device manager.
Here's how I brought my S7300 back to life...
DISCLAIMER: This is what worked for me, but I make no guarantee it will work for you. This process will invalidate your warranty. If you find yourself with a bricked device, try out the SD (SD Card Maker) and USB Burning Tool methods first.
What you'll need: Small Phillips Screwdriver, Thumbtack, MicroUSB Cable, Amlogic USBBurnerTool 1.6.2 and Firmware 4.2 from JXD's download page (and a little luck).
Step 1: Unzip the USB Burning Tool to a folder of your choosing
Step 2: Make sure the power is off, and remove the back plate from the S7300 by taking out the two small screws on the bottom edge of the unit, and gently prying off the snaps.
Step 3: Gently lift the yellow tape and metal shield that is covering the chipset.
Step 4: Look for the 8G NAND Flash Unit, which sits just below the Amlogic SoC. You're going to short Pins 5 and 6 on the ride side of this chip using the thumbtack. I believe this disables the write protect of the NAND flash chip. (See attached photo)
Step 5: While holding the thumbtack in place, connect the MicroUSB cable While Holding Vol -. The device should turn on at this point and be recognized by the computer as something.
From here, the device follows the normal USB burning tool instructions...
Step 5: Go into device manager and look for an "unknown" device (Maybe M3 or M6, too), right click and select update driver. Choose the USB Burning Tool folder and Windows should install something called "world cup device".
Step 6: Go to the USB Burning Tool folder and run ImageBurnTool.exe as an administrator. You should see the device now connected.
Step 7: Go To File>Import Config File, and select the firmware downloaded from the JXD page. Once it loads, click start and let it go to 100%.
Hopefully, you now have a revived device!

Edited to add photo and clarify step 5.
