I've not seen the Game Center X app before now, looks pretty good though as a front end, bunching all native Android games along with various emulators rom files. Just wondering a couple things;
Does it manage other emus besides those few already on it, if I were to install MD.EMU for example, would it show a Megadrive tab [or, can it be manually included]?
Does it exist in the custom ROM images, Skelrom and NCCE or has it been removed from those?

I believe it has been removed from skelrom, that rom is bare bones and lightweight. where as NCCE will give you the option to install or not during the update procedure. I have read on dingoonity it is possible to manually add your android games, emulators and roms to the game centre interface but to be honest i have not used it because i titanium backuped my galaxy note and loaded all the stuff i use onto the s7300. I might have a play about later and see how to load stuff into game centre

I'm kind of curious about this too. The option to keep it would be cool if it really is useful, but I see the need to ditch unnecessary stuff at the same time.

Just had a very quick play with game centre x, its really easy and simple to add your downloaded games, roms emulators to the game centre menu. Open GameX click settings in the lower left hand corner of the screen to open the settings. Now depending on what games to be displayed, Tick Display the internal external Games directory. To display games on the internal SD card. Or tick Display the external TF Games directory. If you want to display your external SD card saved games. Then Select where you would like your games to save, either the internal or external sd_card. It will give you a directory path under these settings, e.g. /mnt/sdcard/externalsdcard Now open your file manager astro or es file explorer etc and navigate to the directory path there is now a folder called Games here. Open the Games folder, Android games are stored in here. You have to place the android APK file here to make it work. Ive had no issues installing or running games from here. now when you re open the game centre x all your android games are displayed on the main menu To install roms to the game centre you also copy your rom to the Games folder aswell, the rom mus be in a .zip format. if it is not you can long press the rom and you should see an option saying create zip, click this. Your rom will now show in the games centre, to run the rom click it and you will get the choice of what installed emulators you wish to use. Obviously choose the relevant emulator a n64 emu for n64 games and nes emu for a nes game etc. To make your newly added rom .zip files look cleaner you can add an image of the game to be displayed on the game centre menu, to do this open up a internet search engine and for the rom you want the image for goldeneye for example search goldeneye game box art. Now save the game box art work as the EXACT same name as the rom. my Golden Eye rom is named "007 - GoldenEye.v64.zip" so my box art is saved as "007 - GoldenEye.v64.png". This png file should be placed in the image sub directory folder in your Games folder. Now when you open Game Centre X there is a nice image of the golden eye Rom displayed on the main menu, rather than the standard zip file image. Edit: Here are a few photos so you can see what the game centre x looks like with your own apks and roms. Ive added samurai II, Football manager 2013, The simpsons Tapped out and Golden eye manually for my test. This is where i have put my apk files and Rom files This is where i have saved my Rom images i wish to display on the Game X home screen And this is how game centre now looks, my apks and rom files are nicely displayed as app icions sorry some of the images are a little blury didnt realise until i uploaded

Nice one, I'm liking this application - all games under one roof.
...I'm also liking that MC Escher style print in the background of your final photo there, what is it called? I'd like to see the entire scene

My s7300 is currently reinstalling everything, due to changing back to a different fw again, i will test it out when am done but i would imagine it will follow the same process as adding an apk to the x game library. without modding x game the emulator will not show as a tab like the other emulators but it should be possible to add the emulator apk file to get the launcher to show up in x game.

After playing with it a little I realized I don't really need Gamex to manage my games and removed it.
The thing is a gaming unit first and foremost and I don't have a massive games library so I simply have all that stuff on the desktop for easier access.

dito its possible to fit 600 games apps and emulators to the home screens, so i just have all the android games on one screen then emulators on another screen and roms on the remaining screens, much quicker to access, and looks good too. However i can see why some people might prefer GameX if they are trying to keep their home screens completely clear.

Since I don't really use this tablet in the same way that I use my main tablet I've even gone as far as to disable Google Now and forgo the use of any widgets or live wallpapers in the name of gaming/media performance, but that's probably a topic for another discussion!

I was wondering, can you just select a rom directly from the SD card without opening up the emulator? Getting my JXD 7300 in 10 days, Can't wait.
