I've had my 7300 for 2-3 months now, its been ok except for short battery life. But today when I powered on, it whiped all my data and reset back to factory. All my apps and games gone. When I used it last night, it was working fine, I did not install anything new, have no idea why it did a factory reset. Hopefully all the gamedata can be found and I don't loose all my progress. I haven't ran a backup for a few weeks either.

Hi, Had completely the same issue, but worse one - Kept factory resetting as long as i've been rebooting. It appears user mattlaw2 had completely the same issue too. ( jxd7300.com/thread/95/reset-start) That appears it is happening to everyone, just like G-Sensor faulty (that hasn't happened to me yet ), maybe just some chip is failing once again and needs some calibration or some autorun app fixing it hard-coded into autorun passing even factory reset. (Just like Avast Mobile Security has for example, S7300B doesn't have NAND locked) I'm sorry for bad English, i am from Poland.

It would make sense not to lock the NAND, due to easier development.

Hi kikanek - Sorry for not replying before, I've not been on for a while (and your English is fine!).
I managed to stop the factory reset by upgrading the IOS to the latest version. This seemed to work and it's running fine now.
Given how much i've read on here about the sytem wiping though I guess i'll try to back it up every week or so, so as not to lose any data, should the worst happen.
The only thing I'm having trouble with now is that I can't get my emus to run full screen. I'm using Retroarch and just can't get it working. A minor price to pay though, particularly as it's probably something i'm not doing right in the first place.
