This procedure has been created by the legend that is Skelton Open up your system folder and do the following
delete /system/app/com.emulator.fpse-1.apk delete /system/lib/libfpse.so delete /system/xbin/fpse.ini delete /system/xbin/ps.sh delete /system/xbin/scph1001.bin delete /system/xbin/com.emulator.fpse.xml
Rebooted the S7300 console then re-install FPse from market.
This is going to be one of my first things to try once my S7300 arrives, but if anyone has tried this yet and can confirm it works, please get in touch and i can then pin the fix to a solutions board

fpse is pretty bad on this device. epsxe is better by far.

Awesome, thanks for the tip revnja. Glad i know not to waste to much time trying to get fpcse optimised and to jump straight onto epsxe. I am quite surprised to hear this though on all other android devices and open source devices ive ever owned it has always been the opposite with fpcse being the dominant force in terms of compatibility, reliability and speed. I am quite intrigued to find out why the S7300 is the anomaly to this.

I have the newest version of epsxe and for some reason it crashes on boot. I have a lot of applications that have been tested to be working and crash

Out of curiosity what ROM are you using? I tested all the apps in my list on ncce 0.2 and now on skelrom, I have a lot more crashes on skelrom than I did on ncce 0.2. I have also installed busy box pro, super user elite and I also ran fix permissions for all my apps before I installed them. Dunno if those make a difference to reliability but I always run them especially fix permissions just in case.
