Hi, About two days ago, I received my JXD S7300 and it was awesome but then I tried to upgrade the firmware as you recommended on willgoo. I downloaded the firmware and I followed every steps as shown on the video but the update stopped at about 75% and now my S7300 wont open. The screen is black and there is only a green light that lights up. I use an English version of windows 7. Can you help me fast please?
Thank you very much

Hello, sorry to hear you have had some difficulties with updating the firmware. Just out of a matter of interest can you still enter the update menu through holding vol up and power? if so try downloading a new copy of the update? the simplest way to update is to download this file alpine.nodeworks.org/NCCE%200.2b_googleplay.zip extract the zip file to the root of the sd card insert into the jxd and hold vol up and power until it enters the upgrade menu, and it should start updating. If the origional download you had was incomplete that could explain the update stopping at 75% previously.

Honestly, it's not even worth it. Users that have updated to the new official firmware only saw very little changes. They thought it will fix some of the problems/requests they had like the key mapping for the analogue sticks, but the firmware pretty much just move things around. Didn't even have an impact.
Custom roms are the way to go with this device.
I don't know anything about this device, but you should try to see if you can reset the device through the computer. Your device won't function because it doesn't have all the required files it needs to run. The best bet is to factory reset it unless you can access the device's system files through the computer and replace/add all the files it's missing.

My JXD doesn't open anymore. everything i see is a green light. So i don't know if it enters the update menu. I will try updating by the SD card but i don't think this will work either. When I plug it to my computer it isn't recognize as a storage disk so I can't change anything. Anyway, I would do anything to make this thing work again fast.

Hey Paul Have you had any luck with the S7300 firmware yet? I just viewed your firmware Video on youtube, Everything looks right until you go to power on the device, to enter the update on my s7300 i tried holding power plus vol up for 3 seconds then releasing, as you did in your video and all it did was turn on the s7300. I turned it off and repeated the process a further 2/3 times to no avail. The next time i tried to update instead of a press I held down power and vol up without releasing them until i saw the update begin it took a while about 10/15 seconds until the android logo and progress bar appeared. It could be possible that your s7300 is just turning on to an incomplete update so you get the black screen. Hopefully with a spot of luck i hope this is all that's up. Try the holding down power and vol up and see if it works. Fingers crossed
Edit: What rom are you updating with? Is it NCCE ROM v0.2? If so your files might be incorrect, they are different sizes to mine.
My Patch.zip is: 91,506 kb And yours is: 89,362 kb
My UImage_recovery is: 5,732 kb And yours is: 5,598 kb
My Update.zip is 187,911 kb And yours is: 203,388 kb

Maybe your vol up/down soldering connections are damaged, and it doesn't put itself into update mode and MAYBE while trying to put your device into update mode you also broke your power button connection. Contact with a friend who is electrician and let him look up the soldering spots. I hope you can fix your problem

I have tried every single firmware I could find and none of these worked. My JXD still doesnt work. I have no idea what to try now. I dont want to open it because it would break the warranty. I have contacted willgoo and I think they will exchange it for another one.

Hi, I need some serious help and advice for my jxd s7300b. I receive my unit about a month ago, everything was working fine on it until I decided to try out the custom NCCE 1.1 firware as everyone seems to think its better than the stock firmware, in any case I have successfully installed the firmware however no no matter what I do the d pad seems to always register the left button as being clicked, using the left stick to control things also does not work as it seems to keep scrolling to the left. This is something that I did not experience before installing NCCE.
Any advice on what to do to fix this issue, or perhaps is there a specific sequence in which the firmware needs to be installed. Please help....

Customs rom NCCE it's a lot better tahn the original, the only problem that I had are some restarting crashings when I power on If I use an app too early when it's until booting somethin. I had troubles with an app that let's you choose what programs runs at start, I don't remember the name (but in the x10 mini pro xperia works fantasticly)
