So far the best gaming devices by JXD are the s7300B and the s602.
If you want to play Android games then you want to go with the s7300B. It has 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB Ram, and a mali 400 GPU. It also has the ability to read 5 points of touch to the screen. It's huge though, the screen is 7 inches and you can't really fit it in your pocket. $166.00
If you just want to play retro games then the s602 is great! It has a 1GHz single core processor, 512 MB ram and a POWERVR SGX531 GPU. It's screen is much smaller and makes the unit more portable. It is also much cheaper than the s7300B. It's touch screen isn't very good for gaming and can only recognize one finger at a time. The s602 however is great at emulating all machines playstation and earlier. It even does a pretty good job at N64. $66.00

Where would you say the A1000 ranks among all of the jxd models?

the jxd s7800b its quad core which means the games run smoothly with no lag and the design is very nice. The jxd s7300b is second only because it has a dual core and some games crash

Hi, i know jxd s7800b vety much because i have just got one from jxd official online shop(jxdofficial.com). And i tested all the android games and emulator games on it. It's really a good device and better than s7300. If you wanna a jxd game console, jxd s7800b will be so far the best choice for you now.
PS: You can also wait and see, it is said that jxd will release a new console in the end of this year. But i am not sure.
