Do you mean because they provided the pirated apks in the "source"? As far as I can tell, they provided source for both their rom and kernel. No, it has nothing to do with pirated or original material. They messaged someone stating they would release their "source" and all they provided was the firmware, not the source code which build it. Here's the message from a member of the NCCE team who received the "source" that everyone is talking about: I have the source and I helped show that the kernel sources were in the rom source. I'm working on the kernel modules for the buttons atm. Another dingoonity member says he is putting together an apk for the button mapper and we are trying to rewrite the driver for the right stick and separate the left stick from the d-pad. I'm Anderxale in dingoonity if you were wondering. The reason I mentioned the pirated material... is they included it in the source hahaha! Too bad it's useless. FINALLY GOT MY UNIT! Sorry for the capps but I'm just so excited! I'm throwing together a kernel update today to see if we can add start/select buttons to the mapper. If I was successful in the module then I will continue with the sticks. Damedus and Vektor were successful in updating the refresh rate of the display to 60hz. It's being tested right now, hopefully everything is great with that update. Edit: haha I should read the other posts before posting... 50hz issue was already mentioned.

Yes Blob with a s7300 great combination, caps are welcome if youe excited good luck with the kernel update, its great to here people are looking in to the button mapper At the end of yesterday I was checking out the original mapper's code. I think we can improve on it if the new app gets canned. The mapper is built into the Rom though, so if major fixes are made then a rom needs to include them and we need to flash our systems for every update. If it's just a kernel update and an app, then we only have to flash one more time to remove the original mapper, after that all app/kernel updates won't mess with our settings or data.

I'm impressed with the way the Dingoonity site has embraced other gaming systems over the years. I was there when the place was born from the ashes of a previous Dingoo site that was tragically hacked to death by some dummy. Ahh the heady, early days of the Dingoo A320...but I digress.
