Had GTA Vice City working beautifully on this unit. Then I realized that 8 Gigs fill up quickly and I better install the swap mod so I have 32 to store games on.
Installed the Mod, enabled both Full CPU power and SD Swap. Copied all my files from the internal memory to the SD card so my games would still have their files. Didn't work, booted to a crash when I opened GTA:VC.
Okay, well it was probably just my own fault. Something was setup as a pointer during installation and I can't just copy/paste files, fair enough. So I go ahead and uninstall the game. I go to Google Play and reinstall it from scratch onto the SD Card. Nope, boots to a black screen, no music, sound, anything. Minutes later still no change.
Run the mod again, I keep the CPU at Full power, but I disable SD Swap this time. Reboot, click GTA:VC, it runs perfectly. Not sure what the issue is. It's not an emulator even, just an android game. A little frightening to think I must have it installed on the internal memory to run. Is the performance better there, or is there a difference the OS can see and not letting me run it?
On a side note, is there anyway to install games to the SD card without the swap mod? I'd love to leave the more temperamental games on the internal memory then install the rest of them to SD.
