now I have installed 1.7 because I hoped for a solution for the dead acceleration sensor.
Auto Rotation does still not work.
But it seems that the sensor is slowly "rising from the dead".
I have installed "AndroSensor" form play store. In older firmware version there was no data shown by the acceleration sensor.
Now the z-axis seems to be alive.
x and y axis alwas stay 19,6133 m/s².
When i start the g-sensor-test in the Device test menu (Settings->Accessibilty) it shows

Bosch Sensortec GmbH
BMA250 accelerometer
ACCELEROMETER sensor
Gsensor Test Finish.
------------
In older Firmware Versions there was no info shown
Game Test:
Raging Thunder 2 - The Car does permanently drive to the left. Rotating the device doesnt affect this.
Bubble Level App:
Same as in Raging Tunder. The Bubble goes to the left and stays there.

I tried official v1.5 and v1.7, custom NCCE v1.0 and NCCE v1.1
Same result. System does not "see" g-sensor.
Programs for testing devices says it all fine with g-sensor.
Games with g-sensor is also working normally.

GSensor gyroscope rotates the screen on my S7300 this intermittent.
whether an update to solve this problem I'll be pleased.
Email and other applications use the GSensor, not just games, then it is important for me this device working well.

I haven't heard back from JXD or Willgoo on this matter and I have been proactively emailing them. At this stage it appears that this effects a large number of JXD s7300 units. As there has been no confirmation of problem resolution or whether it is hardware or software (my bet is hardware) my advice to all potential purchasers is to hold off on your purchase until this issue is resolved. |

I had the same problem after using my S7300 for two months. I searched and found this .apk runamux.net/down/view/android/9TCJyQC0/BMA_Calibration.html It's a BMA chip (that's the g-sensor) calibration tool. Calibrate it using the app. It worked for me  If it works for you then we might have a solution. Spread the word out. If it doesn't then hopefully in the future there will be a solution for this. It's works for me too.
I calibrate g-sensor and it starting to work.
But option "fix on start" unfortunately dont work.
I need to start application manualy and fix every time when power on device.
Maybe this application can explain developers problem with g-sensor and they can fix it in next update.

Any news about Gsensor Fail ? Mine is detected on apps who use gsensor but nothing happend. The chip is burned ?
